Mixing Practice - Song from my band's EP

I'm currently rendering everything to have our EP ready to go for when we send them off to reamp.

In the meantime, I thought I'd give back to this forum with one of our songs for you all to mix:

No, it's not called Acacia, that was just a place holder because the intro sounds like an Acacia Strain song would lol.

I used my own drum track, i could only get crappy DFH to work for the cymbals though i'll try change them soon

If you are on mac open the files in quicktime and export as 24 bit PCM wav.

for this genre, it's my best mix so far, i didn't like the guitar though, the problem it's in the guitar itself, it looks like it has been recorded with the neck PU, and i find that tone to be nasty

Drums were the best for me, I grabbed the drum wav file and compressed as hell then blended with my EZ drummer configuration, and it sounds a LOT more alive
