didn't solve the problem at all
and the tom roll sounds weird, as if there was some phase issues

Hey Ola, may I know what the title of the song? In case you'd check this old thread.
Anyway, I hope somebody reupload the drum backing track.
I would like to buy some Lesse's sample pack and also Ola's pack as well (I believe that he use it on this backing track)
I've heard a lot of good comments about how great the drum backingtrack sound is, so it's makes me curious..~

Cool but :
-snare is too dry
-i feel the whole mix lacks fullness, as if there was a hole somewhere in the lows or low mids (maybe the bass ? i hear subs mainly)

Late to the party but here is my submission. First time processing real bass DI tracks (before that i was used to MIDI bass into Trilian VSTi) among others.
Drums are metal foundry.
Mix is far from final, sounding very raw and still very flawed IMO (and very quiet for now) but i like the character (it's great to hear how different one mix can sound to one another in this thread) :

drums are too thin and compressed and lifeless and dry, sounding like you just dropped steven slate samples

seems better, but :
-there is a lot of stuff clashing in the lows/low-mids, you might wanna do some EQing there
-bass among others, is acting weird
-i hear some kind of clipping in the clip, like you fucked things up with a poor premastering job
-kick could be better

Very cool, except that the bass seems too low (in volume) at times...
And i feel like the mix could use more glue to it.

Very nice ! Drums reminds me of Pantera on the official live album.
Only thing that bugs me is cymbals that sound too loud at times.
I think the drums could come down a bit, and guitars could come up a bit.
