Mixing With Your Mind

Has anyone here read Michae's Stavrou "Mixing With Your Mind"? I discovered it recently and I got to say it has some really interesting approaches to recording techniques even though his music recording/mixing/mastering philosophy may seem a little weird to some people. I am definitely enjoying reading it though.

the dialing in compression section is good. the rest i could do without. I remember liking the dance music manual by rick snoman. Not our genre, but he is really thorough from the gear and production all the way to taking care of yourself on the road. He even shows you sound design techniques and how they differ between the different subgenres. It would be great if someone wrote something like that for metal.
