mmmm... nice pics...

The pictures are quite ridiculous and not Opeth at all. I must say the picture on the wall isn't that bad. But it's something they have to go through whatsoever.

The best Opeth pictures remain (and I think some will agree) the ones in the woods.

Some people may thing Pear is a logical name... Well, the truth is Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter is called Apple, so why not Pear, lol!!!

Yep, best fotoshoot ever.

These new ones.....hmmmm, Peter looks too angry while he's such a nice dude. That facial expression you'd expect from Kerry King...!

Mendez is wearing SpiceGirl shoes... Per should cut some of his hair

mendez is a shortass. in the first pic you can tell that peter's trying so hard to look evil, haha. and the 2 before last lopez is gonna cry.

Hmm. I think this is a bit daunting to say the least. I don't like the new image they try to portray - it pretty much contradicts everything Opeth has been up to this point. There should have at least been an attempt to stay with the nature theme, even minimally. I mean, that was one of the aesthetics that defined Opeth as who they are, and it did a good job representing their music to boot.

I don't know. I just can't identify the Opeth I know in my mind to those pictures. It's a bit disappointing. I don't think it was a wise move to market Opeth as a 'nu' band, visually. I just hope RR don't have any delusions of 'reinventing' the band with a fresh look and sound.

Still looking forward to the album though.

Change is good, we all know that, but this is disturbing. They all look very mainstream.

I know people grow and change, and as far as making music their fulltime jobs, the move to RR will bring them closer to that, so good on the band for this.

But... the commercialisation? These pics make it really obvious.

As someone else said, bring back the blurred forest pics. Part of the appeal of Opeth was that they WERE so different to everyone else. Now they seem to be becoming the same.

Let's hope the MUSIC proves this wrong, after all, thats what matters.
