Moonsorrow/Woods Of Ypres - January 15th, 2007

Great show - totally worth the drive! Woods was fantastic and, honestly, Moonsorrow was almost anticlimactic...but they shredded live, too. This one automatically goes up there on my list of favorite shows of all time.

I took a few pics. Sorry, but I'm not the best photographer

Moonsorrow / WoY pictures

+ A extra thanks also goes to Josh from Detroit, who drove all the way from Detroit for this show

Anytime, man, it was a great show and totally worth the drive in the ice storminess! :headbang:

i remember seeing you there, just cause of your Windir 1184 shirt. and you got the back of my head and well upper body in one of the shots.

and i like your "drunkness" picture

I thought the Against the Seasons material sounded absolutely GREAT with this lineup! Couldn't take my eyes (or ears?) off the stage the entire set! (Except to hit the bar!)

Thanks ArntorFTL for posting those pictures. I can see myself very clearly in the photo titled "Profugus Mortis", if any of you guys noticed me, I had black curly hair, was wearing a mjolnir necklace, and had a Blind Guardian shirt on with a blue plaid shirt over that, and an (incredibly warm) orange fleece coat at some parts too
 i'm the guy who met you and stood with you during the show

  anytime matt. my neck still hurts by the way

My neck is killing me so much, and my ears are STILL ringing. You were right, when you're that close earplugs are the way to go.

Hahah, I thought it was great how when Paul's crotch wasn't in our faces, our eyes were pretty much transfixed on Emilie from Profugus Mortis. That girl can play a violin!

Incredible show, going to be very... very hard to top that one, lineup was stellar, I even had fun at the door.

thanks to all who came out :)

I didn't take many pictures but here's the fav of the ones I did:

Yeah just... :kickass:

btw, for those that liked them Profugus will probably be back at the end of March :)

btw part 2: Moonsorrow WILL be back.

That's great, Profugus were very good. I'll definitely be seeing them when they come back.

Hopefully Moonsorrow has shirts next time they come. I'd also love to hear Jumalten Kaupunki live.

last night when i wrote this post my ears were still ringing, and they still are this morning, but not as much. my neck still hurts a lot though!

and yeah, i found myself looking at Emilie a lot  i'm still surprised a little that whenever anyone from Profugus Mortis climbed on top of that little crate they had that i never hit any of them. paul especially! and it's good to see you here. i'm glad that woods left a good imporession on you.

and i will definately see Profugus when they come back, and of course i'll see Moonsorrow again!!

I almost didn't go because of the weather. We missed the 5:30 train to Union Station and ended up driving. I've never moved so slow on a highway.

I am sure glad I did.
