Lead riff in Triple Corpse Hammerblow, is there any technique i should be practising to help me to this riff better?

I'm talking about the lead riff during the first verse ect. Its a sweet lead riff.

uhh, if I know the riff you're talking about, then you should probably practice your alternate picking.

actually, a better tip is if you're having trouble with this stuff, play some easier material. no use jumping into it too fast

Yeah I already play stuff like Rythem to alot of Bodom songs, like SNBN and Sixpounder. But the lead stuff I stay away from....I've had my bass for 4 years now, and a year after I got my bass my older bro got his acoustic guitar, which I was instantly better at than him, then less thana year later he got his electric which I played alot. really I've only been playing guitar seriously for about a year, bass 4 years.

I want to shred now now now. And I do practise both minimum an hour a day each

well, thats all fine, but if you want to play even bodom you're going to have to practice longer than an hour a day, and make it worthwhile practicing, doing excercises and such, and only devoting a little time to just jamming along with cds. take it from me dude, i learned the hard way.

edit: and if you want to shred, why the fuck are you playing bass?  whatever man, im just saying you should focus on one or the other

MINIMUM hour a day each. I play bass primarely because I like it, don't know why I just always have. I even play my piano downstairs sometimes and want to get a tiny keyboard for my room or somthing.

I play along to CDS all the time, it what I'm always doing pretty much.

keep on practicing, your hard work WILL pay off in the end.
it will come sooner if you stop thinking about it and compare your self.
enjoy from the messing with it.

Don't get stressed with it if your finding it hard, if you do leave it for a bit then come back to it and you should find it easier.

The bassist from Wetwork is killer. I play a show with them the other day and that guy can shred on bass. He was better then the arrogent guitarist(who's mid knob was at 1 and the treble and bass at around 7-9)

But a hell of a show. You should check them out cliffburton
