Most Brutal Band On the Planet

This is the second post I've seen today concerning Great White and that incident, the other one is on a Tacoma enthusiast site though, nothing to do with music. Weird.

I'm going with Nile as the most brutal, although I have only heard Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka.

 Was that the e-mail address you used when you were working in the porn store?

Musically, for me it's Nile, but I know there are probably bands even more brutal. Anything beyond Nile will be too much for me (but then remember I gasped at Syed Ali's assasination). :)

Concert-wise, without a shadow of a doubt, it has to be Slayer. There is nothing more brutal than the pit at the average Slayer gig - especially when you've got long haired metallers and nazi skinheads in the mix.

*Sent an evil, hate filled, ignorant, flaming messege to given PapaJosh email address*:p

Sorry can't give a brutal group without everyone standing around me pointing and laughing. *sticks kick me in the ass on back* Don't listen to brutal music

Throw in about 3,000 drunken hispanics from San Antonio and you've damn near got a situation on your hands! Don't know what it is about hispanics and Slayer, but I've lived in Texas or Tejas all of my life and they fucking love this band.

And to answer your question... some things are just better left to the imagination. :saint:

It depends on how brutal is defined. Most people think of brutal grind and death as the most brutal stuff. Going by that definition I'd say Nasum.

However, the band with the most anger, rage, and down-right brutality would have to be Converge. Specifically the album Jane Doe

It's the brutality that attracts the minorities - and I have no idea why. Perhaps lots of angst to get rid of? I can't be quite certain, but the hispanics and african-americans that turned up for Nile looked like they listened to anything brutal - whether it be hip hop, hardcore, or death.

Sorry, I thought a little Star Wars might help. :)

When customers won't leave your music store right before closing... Jane Doe clears 'em out like Raid.

I can remember a few occasions where my old store employed this...
