Yeah, but the implication is the wife was still cheating on her husband if she freaked out when the kid said his car pulled in, so it's not like she died for no reason! And it's not like the guy did the killing; if she hadn't been cheating she would've just been confused when the son yelled that daddy's car had just pulled in...
