movie reviews

I've been hearing some really good things about Elf.

X2: I saw the first screening at Mann's Chinese... great movie, hated the ride home... took over 3 hours to get out of the parking lot... Much better than the first one because they didn't have to go through as much exposition... Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are just so perfect as Professor X and Magneto!

Bruce Almighty was a tad preachy to me... but Jim Carrey is always a good show.

Already have my tickets for Return of the King at the Arclight Cineramadome in Hollyweird...

The subway goes pretty much right to that theater, and there's a large free parking lot at the North Hollywood station.

I'm so angry about how terrible Singer's screen version of Apt Pupil [my favorite King short story] was that I've not seen any of his films since.

Talk about an all-nighter! I slept 20 minutes in the car, and then got ready for school when I got home... **snoooore!**

Mann's Chinese is near the Hollywood Bowl. Anytime that a show lets out of there, the traffic is completely fucked up as I learned after seeing Björk when she played there this past summer. I ended up sleeping 45 minutes in the car from what my sister told me and we still hadn't even gotten to the 101 freeway yet! :ill:

Just a few more:

LXG: Avoid like the plague

X2: Much better than the first.

Legally Blonde 2: Dumb as a post, nowhere near as good as the first.

Tomb Raider 2: Lost me when Angelina punched the shark.

Alien Quarilogy: A must-own. Fully extended, the packaging is taller than some of the Maidens.
