Moving multiple faders in Cubase?

I've always used the "Link Channels" function on all the channels I want to manipulate the volume on simultaneously. Just highlight all of the ones you want, then right-click->Link Channels and there you go. Then to get back the individual manipulation just right-click again and Unlink Channels.

Also, that works for the EQ for all the linked channels. Pretty cool when you need to do the same EQ'ing on a couple of different tracks like vocals and such. :)

well fuckin' a...why didn't someone tell me about this a long time ago?

Seriously... I've been making a master track and duplicating it, changing the name, if I want to keep the same plugs/EQ.

I had no clue about this grouping madness... I've just literally been creating bus's for all of my shit that had more than one thing going on. Grouping rules!

i knew about the grouping thing, but it totally flew over my head that you could use it to apply the same processing to multiple tracks at once

talk about a "duh" moment!

You can right-click on the mixer and choose save all mixer settings...

Wish I knew this before open a project and find out all mixer settings were reset :(
