I lurk on these boards...and wow, speaking of dumb threads...At least Shreds threads (that sounds cool) have to do with music, Symphony X, whatever.

Starting a thread in an attempt to humiliate someone else is childish. If YOU have a problem, tell him on your own time, don't single him out on a public message board.

And someone tell me where in the "forum rulebook" it says that we have a limited number of threads.

Thanx again. The only real "stupid" thread I can think of is the one I made about bashing Yngwie in which I apologised.

But bashing a guitarist is bad, but not as bad as bashing a guy who will be able to read it. And to say I have no friends, ow! thats mean, cold, bastardly, ect...

You've managed very well to get people into discussions because as far as I can see, your threads are full of posts from all of us. I might comment on your amount of threads but that's not to be taken seriously, just like you have commented a couple of times on a significant obsession of mine.

I don't think anyone really wants you to stop, but that is not an encouragement for you to create twice as many more!

Don't go anywhere, Shred-ididle. I'm glad you're a SymX fan. There are a lot worse things you could be doing than spending your time here. You're a part of this as well as anyone else. There are others here who say that they have no-one at school who they can even talk with about this music. That's why a lot of us are here. So, talk.....and don't worry about it.
Just use a bit of discretion with your threads, like the "bash" thread.

I love shred's threads (yeah, it was ment to rhyme). And it makes me feel not so dumbass when i post a stupid thread. Also, we need some talk other than Symx all the time... look at CoB's board or vintersorg's board... they have threads that have thousand or more posts because they are just to rant or whatever... we all love ya here shredy!!!! (in a friendly way... not a sexy way) And i thought the Yngwie bashing thread was funny... personally.

I'm back home now so i can be "normal" now.

Its not that I was sad, it was that I was Pissed off and angry when people say it in a harsh way (you have no friends, you have no life ect...) which is not true.

I think its understandable that someone will get pissed off at a thread created purposely bashing you. And I thought I handeled it quite well by not flaming anyone and saying it in a nice, humble and well-mannered way.

But instead, a certain someone is on my "Ignor list" (Isn't that what its for?)

Um for the saviour of a future thread,

I was doing this game how I close my eyes and piont my finger to a cd and then I have to listen to it.

So I soemhow chose Vai's Sex and Religion.

I havent listened to this for a long time and I thought it was very good (particularly Dirty black hole and survive) But the song Rescue me or burry me ! is genius!! But then I started acually liked the singer (devin townsend) and started to wonder how his solo albums sound like.

So can you guys tell me about his solo albums?

Devin Townsend's solo albums are, simply put, freaking orgasmic. Ocean Machine, Terria, and Accelerated Evolution are all required for a respectable CD collection. The songs are highly melodic, with a very dense, layered wall of melodic goodness. And his vocals are amazing.

Buy or die!

yeah, i just got ocean machine today, and to simply put it, is probably the best disc i have gotten in a long time. So far it is my favorite of his releases

Accelerated Evolution, Terria, and Ocean Machine are the ones to get, in that order...and some of the songs have very effective solos, among them Suicide, Sunday Afternoon, Deep Peace, Stagnant, etc.

I have been starting heaps of threads because I'm in Melbourne for a "Holiday" and their is NOTHING to do here but go on the net, listen to music and walk my grandma's dog. I also dont know anyone here apart from my grandma, uncles/aunts and cousins.

When I get home I'll acually have something to do. I cant wait to play my guitar and see my friends.

But remember that when I'm home I'm not like this. I just having nothing to do and no-one to talk to out here. But you got to admit it is addictive.

You can be upset with me all that you want but this response of yours proves EXACTLY what I was hinting at when I started this useless thread. It's good to see that you aren't like this unless you're on "holiday".......
