Mt. Gildenlow set to erupt?

Speaking of which (and keeping it musically related), Kristoffer is now part of a Swedish/Dutch alternative prog rock act called Dial. I haven't really checked them out yet, but I hadn't even heard anything about this before. Although it does appear that they supported Riverside for a few dates in NL. The little bit I have checked out sounds good.

I actually like Dial. Though I have received heat from my friends for liking them, I think they're just fine ;D.

thanks AMBR, after saturday, I have serious concerns for his treatment from the floor nurses, and he's in a GOOD hospital, I'll save that rant for another day.... :erk:

When I had to submit fingerprints for naturalization many years back, they kept rejecting them. After several tries, I had to explain to them that my picking away at my fingers (gross!) had eroded my thumb prints a little. I will throw the biggest hissy fit at the airport in Norway if they prevent me from traveling on to the Arctic this summer.

Wishes for a fast recovery for your dad, J-Dubya.

Hey Dub, don't know ya but I'm sorry to hear about your father.
That's really hard...mine was diagnosed with leukemia last year.
Warm thoughts to your family. :)

Now then, as for Gildenlow...I have given up on PoS coming back to the States anytime soon, but I doubt it has anything to do with the process of leaving there/getting here.
I don't think he's sitting at home and musing to himself, "Boy, it would be great to tour America again, but these security regulations have made it impossible!"
I doubt it even crosses his mind to play here anymore.

PoS aside, most "security" methods aren't all that great or reliable because it's too easy to fall through the cracks.
Good for Europe for being proactive, but uhhh...having someone's fingerprints on file in an office in Europe isn't exactly gonna do much when the person to whom the fingerprints belong decides to do something "terror-related" elsewhere in the world.

I might be missing the point...or I'm just especially bitter and cranky this morning.

Meh.
What's to be done?

...I'm-a go cook me some pancakes. :kickass:

Everyone should just be branded 666 and our security problems would go away. Anyone who refused to take the mark would obviously be a criminal. Problem solved!
