Well that was fun! Awesome instrumental track Tried some new sounds on this and it worked out well I guess

Reamped the rhythm guitars with Jet City JCA50H -> Mesa Boogie 2x12 V30. Leads were TSE30

Great stuff man, keep it up. Will need to check out more when I get a chance. Here's my attempt.



As you can probably hear, I didn't deviate too much from the original mix since I used the printed tracks and not the DIs, though I think the sound turned out rawer. Also, I really wanted to bring out the ambient guitars for more atmosphere. I may have gone a little overboard with the reverb, but whatever, I had lots of fun doing this.

Edit: Should mention I didn't do any mastering to this one, since I don't have a mastering suite (or any skills or patience to try it)

This is probably by far my favorite one from the thread (aside from my own mix of course hehe).
