Keep in mind that the original Guinness you get in Ireland tastes different than what is exported from there.
And I wouldn't say Murphy's is better

j/k though actually I do find it tastes different, I saw some documentary a while ago and in fact they slightly alter the taste to fit the export market so it can't be all myth
