And the touring bit is always funny. One band got so fucked they tied (toed? tyed?) up one of their members and starting ranting about how they were going to rip all his skin off.

Metal Maniacs. Makes for good reading material when I'm having a snack or whatever and don't feel like being on the computer. Also, every issue has a free poster.

Metal Maniacs is probably the best one I've seen. You can find it in some bookstores and music stores

Snakepit is pretty good. English level isn't that good but it's still a great magazine with good interviews.

i used to read metal maniacs alot. now i dont read many magazines anymore. sometimes i read PIT because its based in co springs.

the only magazine i really read though is the yearly guitar buyers guide.

Terrorizer is pretty qualified compared to other magazines. If I'm in the mood to shell out some £, I'll buy it... but it honestly depends on whether or not I like what's on the cover!

Terrorizer is fucking awesome, anyone that reads Metal Hammer and does more than skim over it bar the Subterranea section though deserves to be shot, Metal Hammer practically is Roadrunner Records, the glossy mainstream magazine.

Other decent metal magazines from time to time include Decibel and Metal Edge.
