Terrorizer, Unrestrained, and Metal Maniacs are all pretty solid. I'm guessing Unrestrained is a bit harder to find, being a quarterly mag.
I try to read them all, but usually just while buying a cup of coffee at Borders and reading then putting them back on the shelf. Sampler CDs are not that big of an incentive to buy, considering how many bands post free songs on myspace or label pages.
Decibel can be okay too. I don't always care about the bands they profile, but their writing is above average. I study magazine journalism in school, and they seem to to a better job on the professional end than the other mags do.
