Music Shops North East of England

I have seen that there are a couple of people here from NE england, and being new to the area I said I'd ask for your expertise. Are there any good music shops and where are they? Say shops for standard things like strings etc to shops that do equipment etc, I'd be grateful for any feedback....

I'm from the North East - Hartlepool to be exact. No decent music stores in the town - 1 to be exact (i think). Small as fuck, literally has fuck all.

I use www.stringsdirect.co.uk - For strings, wires, plecs - they deliver fast as fuck, always been reliable. Great fucking site.

In Newcastle, theres Sounds Live and Guitar Guitar which are both great.

I personally find String Busters to be best for your everyday needs. It helps that they are the only place I can easily get my hands on the pics I use (Pickboy 1.14mm Reefer).

In the Northeast theres a few in the Newcastle Area

Guitar Guitar in newcastle - great selection of guitars and amps and the guys know what they're talking about

Windows Music - Newcastle and the Metrocentre in Gateshead - Ok selection of gear, slightly (lol) overpriced

Theres also Soundslive in Newcastle - Decent Selection of stuff, mainly Fender,Gibson,Jackson ALOT of sound engineer gear too, best place for it (I got my KRKs from there)
