I'm too lazy to read the whole thread, but music rarely garners such strong emotions in me that I'm completely affected by it, but this statement is made under the assumption that music brings you to absolute tears, or some other very strong emotion

I mean, fuck, Maiden in the right setting will send shivers down my spine for example, but I'm not sure what is meant by the ?

HOWEVER, I will say that (disclaimer: I was hammererered) both "Coffin Ships" and "Gods to the Godless" really affected me more than anything I could remember in a LOOOOONG time when I got to see them live at HC.
