Sikth (some absolutely whackass blend of black and progressive metal that goes to all extremes, both fast and slow, and spastic and melodic, it defies all description)
Arcana (ambient folk, i'm always looking for stuff like this)
Corvus Corax (symphonic folk, see above --also they appear to be totally nuts)
Hollenthon (Therion is my favorite band, so i can only love this other band)

Into Eternity - A mix of growling and clean vocals... Death (as in the band) like drumming with crazy trills on his ride and odd time signatures...pretty damn progressive, and kick ass live.

Just about every band I listen to. Noteable past ones include Skyfire, Finntroll, CoB(of course), Nightwish, Iced Earth, and Therion. Recently discovered probably Kamelot, Archeron, and Ensiferum.

Dream Theater (believe it or not). I just recently bought SFAM to see what these guys are about. Pretty damn good. Oh yea, and Dissection is another good band I just got into.

Archeon - VERY impressed by their stuff, someone posted the entire album on this board if someone wants to search for it (i think, anyways). Folks have said they are COB like, and i can see the similarities, but still a brilliant band.

I recently found Biomechanical too, quite impressed by them, like the range in vocals.

Beyond Fear - Tim Owen's new side project from IE. I saw a live video, and i think they might be quite good.
