MXR EQ + GSP 1101 ?

Hey guys/gals, I recently purchased a GSP 1101 and i have it connected to my Peavey 6505+ head using The 4cm. I am wanting to put my MXR 10 band eq in the loop with the GSP but i`m not sure how. Could anyone hear give me the correct routing to accomplish this ? Any input will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

I use graphic EQ's the same way I use TS's, NOT through the loop, but through the input, using that through the GSP directly will probably sound like shit.

I like EQ's in the loop personally to shape the sound a bit out of the preamp.

Just put it between the GSP out and amp loop return if you must.

The GSP has 3 eq blocks: pedal, parametric post preamp, and a global eq on the output. They sound perfectly fine. That MXR is just a clean EQ. It adds nothing that the GSP can't do.

I would ditch the MXR. Dial in your tone with the EQ blocks in the GSP.
