My band's new song (Ultra, SD2.0, Xpand, Progressive Technical Deathcore content)

only listening at work but 2 things that stick out like a sore thumb are the reverb on the vocals makes him sound like he is standing in a bathroom (a plate verb with alot less wetness) and the vsti instruments sound way to unrealistic/intrusive. Try setting them back a few db's and eq them so they sit better, regardless though without better samples your gonna be pretty beat.

The music is pretty interesting to say the least

Thanks a lot dude. I dont have much to work with in the vst department cause all I got is Xpand. I hope to get Omnisphere in the future. Any specific tips on how to make them sound more realistic?

Thanks for the tip on the reverb. Any one else got feedback?

That snare is not doing anything for me. I would work on a better sample. Some of the vocals are too quiet and in the background, and like he says there's too much reverb on the vocals. You need something other than Xpand is the only way to get those sounding more realistic really. I can't stand that synthesizer. I like messing with Oscillator configuration and routing too much to only have access to presets and the basic envelope for that preset. (Attack, cutoff, release etc.)
