X30 panned hard into catharsis' impulses. Then I had Legion in the middle.
Hi/low pass and some extensive eq.

I thought the vocals would turn out worse.

The drums are way too loud, but it kinda works (at least with the kick, the snare needs to come down). Guitars are really muffled and kinda phasey sounding, not great :/

You wrote real drums... maybe 100% replaced (slate drums)? And do you quantizise the drums?

Yeah everything is quantized perfectly. Snare replaced 50 kick replaced 100 percent. Toms are natural

sounded pretty good 'till the guitar leads came in...but that's always where, to me, amp sims tend to sound sort of shitty

try maybe a different impulse on the lead tracks?

Will do. Thanks for the tip. I kinda see what you're talking about, the leads don't really glue in with the track.
