One thing I can complain about is I feel this disconnect from the guitars mainly the left channel tone sounds weird to me.

I was listening to this earlier today maybe it can help comparing your mixes.

Haha, funny you posted those - I'm using their cover of a Polar Bear Club song as a reference in one of my other mixes.

The strings on the left-hand guitar were pretty dull sounding so it could probably use a bit more presence - thanks for the feedback!

Yeah they're local to me, and called Hindsights (plural noun band namesuke - https://www.facebook.com/hindsightsuk
Pretty heavily influenced by Title Fight, Balance and Composure kinda bands.

This is one of the more pop songs on the EP, the rest is more hardcore driven.
