My first "ANOUNCED" engineer, mix and Produced effort

Dude, this sounds badass! Sounds awesome, and the band is actually pretty damn cool! Argh. I can't wait to get my copy of Logic, just for that verb.

I have to say, was Danny Walker a bitch to work with? He's from here (Ventura), and played in a few bands up here, but then got all bigheaded when he joined Uphill Battle, and he's always been a dick to the people I know who've met him

Haha. Holy shit you did the production on Intronaut's Void. Thats awesome. Band kicks ass and I really, really, really like the production. Did you do Null too?

Thanks alot man!!! I love there talent and raw power!!!

Yeah I did Null as well, Null was tracked and mixed in 5 days. We had way more time for the album - I believe 20+ days total. 10 mixing days for 8 songs.

Normally Im not not one to talk about others however in his defense he's always been cool with me, he got alittle flared from time to time during the recording, but thats normal and his band put him in check as did I, were all good friends. I like Danny alot.... he's just a bit antisocial, some may persieve that as dickesh.:kickass:

thats space designer? wow i havent really used it that much maybe i should.

Yeah look into it, there are huge amounts of manipulations that can be made and reverse delayed verb effects settings! The presets are pretty damn good to use as a starting point. I guarantee as soon as you invest some time with it you'll love it. I have yet to look into any other verb since using it. hmmmm...:notworthy

I remember listening to Null for the first time and thinking "Man, this is raw as fuck......and I like it!". Damn good job for tracking and mixing in 5 days! The songs on that EP are killer too. 'Fragments Of Character' is probably one the best songs I've heard in a loooooong time.

I asked them if we could re-record Fragments Of Character. So we actually re-recorded Fragments of Character as a bonus track I dont believe its going to be on the album though. The new version sounds ten times better and I encouraged more harmonies in the middle breakdown part, sounds thick.

What record did you record for Final Conflict? ...Ashes To Ashes was one of my favorite mid 80's hardcore records. I see you also recorded Reagan SS. My old band was supposed to do a split 7" with them but it didn't end happening. Small world

Small Ass world indeed!!! I recorded the - "No Peace on Earth No rest in Hell" Record - Due out for release on the 22nd of this month on SOS records. Im in the band as the drummer and recorded on this record too. It sucks to have to engineer your own tones!!! I was forced to mix everything UBER quickly and mixed it in the box @ home - I am a analog console mix guy - I will never mix in the box again, Until Im confortable enough to do so, KICK IN THE FACE I TELL YAH!!!! It turned out eehhh alright -:waah:

P.S. heres the link to the new Final Conflict stuff - I dont even know why Im linking it...... BLAH!!! Hey its PUNK RIGHT???

Sounds great! In a couple of months I'm going to do a full length album for a band which sounds a bit like this (much simple and straight forward though)... I might just have to ask you for tips then.
