My Friend's Place - great for lunch!

Strange how a good restaurant closes. I would imagine a big factor (besides the obvious location location location spiel) would be rent prices in Atlanta. Sorry to see this one shut down.

I did a little more digging and this place is new and either in the same place as My Friend's Place or very close nearby. Open 11am-3pm on Friday, and Saturday.

Man I really missed the place. It really was the best option for a quick lunch, especially when you don't want pizza.
My lady friend and I were going to check this place out after your post tammy and we didn't know it was closed until we got there

I was sad to see "My Friend's Place" go...good food and super friendly people. When I walked by, there wasn't another restaurant in its place.
I ate lunch on Saturday at Highland Bakery (they have sandwiches and salads in addition to the "bakery" part) and would definitely go back. It's located near TAP at the corner of Peachtree NE and 14th Street.
