My iLok2 nearly died! I didn't know what fear was until...

Had my laptop case sitting next to my PC tower, went to pick it up and it swung right into the protruding ilok in my PC accidentally! WHAM! Snapped the USB connector right off!!!

I didn't know what fear meant until that moment! In the middle of 3 projects, this is NOT where you want to be! So I had a good look at it after calming down! The USB end had come clean off, but the contact nodes were still there! So I soldered a USB cable onto them, shielded them and BAM! It works for now!

Buying a new ilok tomorrow to transfer everything to! Again... Scariests few hours ever! This is why I hate being legit... Shit happens!

Any fellow borrow stories???

IIRC PACE themselves are selling a small extension cable as a security measure for this. Sure enough you've remembered me I should find something similar for my ilok. Hope it'll turn out well in the end man!
