On the weekend I got:

Vanishing Point - Embrace the Silence
Bruce - TOS
Marilion - Misplaced Childhood
Yes - Close to the Edge Special super dooper foldout fucker edition
Queen - 2

:headbang:

Only listened to VP and Bruce so far. VP is pretty kick ass from the 1 listen I have had to it. Will take a few more listens before the melodys start to sink in. Already love the piano parts of the second track :headbang:

TOS is quite different to AOB and CW I think. Sure its heavy,... But its not as riff heavy as CW.. More like the more rockin songs on the last 2 Maiden albums... Not sure about it so far, although I have only listened to the first 5 tracks once each so far.

Also ordered the Yellow Matter Custard DVD from Portnoys site, and Octavarium from Amamamazon. :worship:

Misplaced Childhood! :headbang:

I'm currently listening to Marillion's "Best of Both Worlds" (a 2 CD set featuring both singers) which just arrived from Scotland. I love Ebay :).

Must get some of those fancy-schmancy Yes reissues one day. The Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge are all essential.

I've got Misplaced Chilhood playing now. Very nice melodys. What other Marilion albums you reccomend if I start liking this one. I have heard so many good things about this album so will have to give it a few more spins yet to see if I think its all that.

With Fish:

Script For A Jester's Tear (1983)
Fugazi (1984)
Real to Reel (1984- live)
Clutching At Straws (1987)
The Thieving Magpie (1988- live)

With Steve Hogarth:

Season's End (1989)
Holidays In Eden (1991)
Made Again (1996- live)

There are lots more with H (as he's known) but these are the only ones I've heard. Go to www.marillion.com for all the info.
