Third one in the last year. I think the best part is that I never play the other two I purchased, I spend 90% of my playing time on my two other basses I've had for years. Probably going to sell both of those n00bs, although they are nice basses.

Total is up to 6 now, but 1 stays at home with me ma because it's the one I grew up with + the action is about an inch off the fretboard so I never play it anymore.
 
I do, but not to the tune of $3,000.

I've only once ventured into the 4-digit category for a bass, and that's because it's THE GREATEST BASS EVER TO GRACE THE PLANET:

Peeping Tom = yet another Mike Patton project. I'm diggin' it so far!

haha holy shit these songs feature people like Massive Attack, Kool Keith, and Norah Jones. Honestly I prefer Patton's poppier stuff so I imagine I'll dig this one quite a bit!
