I need to listen to "The Process" again. It was such a strange departure for Skinny Puppy, but in retrospect, it seems rather brilliant.

I'm very new to them, they are one of the woman's bands. She took me to see them a few months ago and I was blown away. I've read about this album and I'm quite intrigued, it seems to be a love/hate album.

Definitely. Every album had a unique vibe from ultra-dark to just gnarly. Without Goettel I always thought they were missing something, the music become to, how to say, obvious. Before it was always eccentric and unpredictable. But even just "okay" they're pretty damned good.
