So, I'll try here since no one seemed to want to answer in the other thread. The Akira movie should be here tomorrow and I need to replace the DVD player (I hope that's all it is) in my PC. What are some good /reliable DVD players/burners for $40 or less? I know Capt. Beard knows about this stuff, Lurch too? Help...!. .

I bought a cheap Lite-on once. It was fine as a burner but not so hot as a player.

Thanks man, I'll check one of those out I guess. I'll just grab one from Wal*mart, if it sucks I can just return it and try another brand.
