Comparing similar price ranges, I wouldn't be surprised if the Grado 325is are better, but they were so horribly uncomfortable I got rid of mine after 2-3 uses. Bought 'em used so there wasn't a loss there. I've got these for open air and my Audio Technica ATH-M50 for closed cans/potential commuting, so I'm set now. Fiio E7/E9 combo for DAC/Amp.

Kept it simple and sensible. Setup works great.

i barely play bass guitar, i've never played a 5-string or fretless bass for more than like 5 seconds, so this'll be fun
