I was always curious about Varathron (and the rest of the old greek bands like Necromantia, Rotting Christ etc.) but every time I've tried to listen to that stuff it just doesn't click. Vinterriket doesn't really click with me either, at least not the metal pieces. Yeah, you use a drum machine, just because it can play at 540 bpm doesn't mean it should. Hehe. The ambient stuff is pretty good though.

Ya, that is the only Varathron I enoyed and wanted. The Vinterriket was actually a fucking mistake. I was actually thinking of Iuvenes. Anyways, the Baltak and Mordaehoth are great.

Upon opening the CD box for the first time, I immediately put the leaf into a ziploc bag for preservation.
