This is the newest song of mine that I've been struggling with the last couple days. I think this is half of the song (haven't arranged the rest properly yet)

The first verse is missing a lead guitar. The sound was so crappy that I decided it's best to left unheard :)

Ignore the performance on the acoustic guitars. They are still scratch tracks. I was planning to use similar unprocessed sounds on the final tracks though.

What do you think? There is still a lot to do until this is ready, but I would like to hear comments how I have done this far.

That sounds class. I really love the clean guitar tone. I think the drums sit nicely in the mix although maybe a bit lost when it all kicks in about two thirds of the way through. Very impressive clarity on all the guitars though, I wish I could get even close to that

Hey, thanks for the reply! The first mixes of this were very messy so I high passed everything pretty high, especially the synths and guitars. On the heavy part the mix is very crowded and it is hard to get it sound clear. I did some changes already (original link updated). It is louder at least :) I'm planning to replace those crappy played acoustic guitars today too.

I like the song! Cleans and Acoustic guitars sounds very good, are the cleans vsts? I love those single chords with tremolo effects or them(or whatever it is), fits very well.

Hmm...didn't see this yesterday. This is really nice stuff. It's nothing less than I've come to expect from you...class and melody. ;) And damn, do I love those acoustics at the end!

OT: sorry I haven't yet posted a finished version of the song on which you helped me. Besides waiting on someone to help me with a few other parts, and the new baby and all...it's just taking a while...but not forgotten!

Sounds very nice, esp. the acoustics at the end.

Kiitos :)

Thanks. The cleans are PodXT with bass amp sim.

I did not have really much time to fiddle with this today ( my summer holiday ended today :waah:) but did at least something. Link updated once again.

Here's the patch http://koti.mbnet.fi/torkkis/echo3-nodly.l6t (you will need bass expansion pack)

I used Ibby 1527 w/ both pickups splitted. Post processing - bit of 1/4 delay and high pass @ 130Hz.

I'm getting a 'not found' error for some reason

I updated the first link also. Should work now
