Are you referring to the chorus ("not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 0")? If so, Matt's explanation in post #17 and the video I put in post #20 should explain it pretty clearly.

No, I saw the original when he said that the Heat would win 7-8 or more championships to get rings... I mean with all the people saying that Shaq gives his best for the first three quarters of every game, is that like a regular thing? Does he literally quit before the final quarter?

Ahhhh (assuming you mean Lebron and not Shaq). All the three quarters jokes - and the Quitnesses line in the video (e.g. "You left your former teammates at the altar in Boston with an epic no-show, LeQuit" - stem from one of his final games w/ Cleveland when he "quit" against the Boston Celtics in the playoffs. I didn't see the game, so I can't tell you precisely what happened, but people say he literally and quite visibly gave up and simply stopped trying in the 4th quarter. All the jokes stem from that one game, it is not any kind of repeat event that I know of. It was just in a really, really big spot and it basically cost them a chance to go to the NBA Finals (Cleveland had the best record in the NBA that year and home-court advantage throughout the playoffs).

Dude, this is absolutely brilliant! I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination but one thing that I love is when cocky, arrogant sports players get their just reward! I watched some of the broadcasts and his attitude is unforgivable. Nice job on this song, I think you found just the right balance between calling him out and being mean. And as always, your music and lyrics are oustanding. Great job!

The Heat winning (twice) killed the joke. It would be poor form to have the video out on YouTube. Sad but true.
Still a great song and I am glad I bought it off iTunes to enjoy at my heart's content
