Is the monitor foam the Primacoustic's Recoil? How do you think about them? How much do you pay them?

I looked at Primacoustic, Auralex etc. but ended up with these. I payed about 500 euros for it.

Oh sorry man, I didn't get your at first. Yes that is Primacoustic. I think they work great, don't remember what I paid, maybe like 30 euros or something.
Your monitor stands look good as well! Where did you buy those? I've been looking for monitor stands that have that height, but haven't found any that looks good and serves the purpose.
I built them to get the exact height I wanted. I found adjustable ones to buy but they were ugly as hell, then I found really nice ones that costed a fortune. These actually look like the expensive ones, only that instead of $450 they ended up at $45.
That sounds like a good idea. I really have no experience in building anything like that, but maybe I'll give it a try. What kind of material/woods did you use?

Monitor stands are 3 (x2) fuckin piece of wood with some glue and some screws (maybe)....you can build a pair of stands with 30 euros in half an hour. If you go to buy some stands the price is 250 euros +......INSANE!
Yes, some stuff is really overpriced... like monitorstands. Usually studio furniture is overpriced to insanity. Stuff that costs 1500 euros can be created for 50 euros. It's kind of sick.

3days ago I went to a shop that sell instruments and studio equipment. I wanted to buy a gift for my drummer....and I see a practice pad. 45€!!!!! It was a fuckin' piece of foam (diameter 10cm) and the snare stand was about 45€.......and my TS7 is 45€!
How can they sell a TS7 or a Snare stand at the same price of a piece of foam???????

I notice the walls are angled in the corners and there is some kind of molding on that wall behind the monitors where it meets the ceiling...Is that the way the room is built (with those corners like that and the molding), or are the corners and wall "false" and made out of sound treating materials?
