as the title says, my tone suck

I used the direct out of my 6505 inside hd500 via usb
impulses used are: redwirez marshall1960B-v30s-i5-cone-0in for left guitar
and redwirez mesarectifierv30s-sm57-coneedge-0.5in for the right guitar
the guitar is a schecter hellraiser c7, emg 707, no TS used

in the group track I made a 9db dip at 445hz, q 0.37 with the req4



my main problem is that I have in my mind a bad idea of tone....every time I tweak someone else tone I make it bad

Where is the treble? Your sound is very dull... Cut the mids and lows to release highs

Try throwing a tube screamer in front of that to tighten it up a little. Also, try some different IRs.
