I think it looks pretty cool, but not appropriated for a black metal band (unfortunately).
Some elements in your design are well chosen : the house and the tree, you have something there. The textures and the colors give a grungy/industrial look to it. Which is not bad but far from the black metal style.

I give you 2 links to check out, the atmosphere is much closer from the style.

It's not the right atmosphere... at all... for the band but it is cool. I too have done some work like that for bands but I've never gotten anything out of it.
