Almost all of my equipment lives at my studio/rehearsal space these days... including my interface. (Focusrite Saffire Pro w/ART DMPA connected via SPIDF, FWIW.)
I keep a Pod XT at home for random noodling, and the little I've tampered with connecting it via USB for late-night demo-ing of ideas has resulted in failure. I'd like to set the thing up, if possible, to serve only as a guitar/bass input and route the audio through the built-in output of the computer. I'm running Logic 8 on a Macbook Pro.
Every time I've recorded the Pod, I've simply run it into a line input of whatever interface or board I was using at the time.
Surely with all the Pod fans around here someone should be able to help me connect the thing with a minimum of latency? There are times I really don't feel like trekking down there at 4 AM just to record a random riff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
