I've been doin a lot of research trying to figure this shit out, but I can't seem to get it. I connect the pod XT pro to the ff800 via SPDIF (red and white cables). Then I set the output on the pod to SPDIF. Then I set the input in cubase to SPDIF. I even make sure the SPDIF input isn't muted in total mix. Still doesn't work. Anybody who can help?

Red and white cable? A SPDIF cable is a digital coaxial cables. A regular RCA style cable won't work.

On the FF800, if using older drivers set Clock Mode on AutoSync to avoid digital noise with SPDIF inputs; Sync Ref to TCO and check the Word Clock Out check box for Single Speed.

With any drivers set SPDIF input source to coaxial, and always set Clock Source to SPDIF.

I'll add that while in theory cheap RCA's don't work, in practice they have every single time I've tried. It's far more likely a settings issue than a cable issue.
