POD XT as small audio interface

Hey guys ...

somewhere I read, that the pod xt can be used as a small audio usb-interface, too. That would be absolutely awesome, as I need a small mobile modeler and a new mobile interface (I don't want to take my firepod with me when I'm not at home).

As an interface I need it to run a dry guitar signal through it to use it with Revalver. And I need one xlr-input to record my miced up iso-cab.

And I need a small modeler to practice at home and "on the road" if I have to.

Originally I wanted to buy a mackie satellite and a pocket pod - but hey ... I guess a used pod xt would be cheaper

XT has no XLR in or mic pre, but X3 does. It'll work for sending dry guitar to RV, though.

Oh ... shame on me ... I didn't have a clue about all those line 6 pods. So I thought, the X3 and the XT are the same

That X3 looks nice, though ... just a little too expensive
