name the mic!

next clip-contest (no, you can't win anything )

this time it's the same amp, guitar etc but different mics...

I know, the sounds are far from being perfect, but I wanted to have every mic in the exact same position, so I chose the center of he speaker (not necessairily my first choice for clean).
but anyway, it's just so you can judge it better....distance grill-MicMembrane is 10cm

i listened to all of the clips, and while there's definitely a huge difference in some of them, i'm not even going to attempt to guess which is which, because i'll probably be totally wrong

lol listened to the clips, i did ok on the other test you posted with amps, but as far as mics, and clean tones go, i could only probs tell the difference between the dynamic and condenser mics, and even thats pushing my ears!!

I hope #6 is the least expensive cause I really like that one. But it's prob the most expensive knowing my taste. I rather like the clip though! #5 seems a bit boomy in the low end. My only guess is that #3 is the sm57. But then again I couldn't even guess who was going to win the superbowl, and their were only two teams for that game, lol.

I think 4 is the sm57. Three is probably also a dynamic.
