We can do this all time favorite album dealy, but doing it in tournament form is fawking fuddah. Perhaps we can generate a list where each person rates each album on a scale from 1-10, then we can do some simple mathematics to rate said albums.



I'm thinking we should do a 64 band Olympic style tournament. With each forum member representing 2-3 countries. Full with review and uploads.

Example you pull Mexico and Iceland, while Jason pulls England and Jamaica. Face off to the fucking death!!!

Shit will be drawn out and EPIC!!! Kills two birds with one stone too. Holla if ye be in. :negar:

How about this: Each participating member recommends three albums, one from his/her own country (or even city?), one from some other country (Neighbouring? Really far away? Whatever!) and one far-fetched reco that noone has heard from whereever. Recos run for a month or so, and the samples will be posted with each album in the voting thread after that. Matchups are as follows: First round, my three albums vs your three albums, Lurch's vs markgugs etc (point being that two participants get their albums matched, home vs home, other vs other and crazy vs crazy) and after that it's a regular vote. Too complicated?

Not crazy about bringing country of origin into a music debate. First of all, it seems somewhat irrelevant. Second, between Nevermore, Iced Earth, Symphony X, Wolves in the Thrown Room, Agalloch, Zero Hour, Hammers of Misfortune, Isis, Redemption, Novembers Doom, Neurosis and Slough Feg, I think we can all agree, America wins at Metal.
