In the good old days there used to be

1) On/Off-button
2) Reset-button

in a computer. Now there's only On-button. So how come no one ever thinks about this stupid gadget getting so buggered it just doesn't do a fucking thing without ten minute thinking?!?! How do you turn it off then without waiting for an hour or two? By taking the plug outta wall. Wouldn't it be easier for everyone to have Off-buttons? Or resets?

I've always avoided computers and all things related...
at least till this week.
I got my first computer last monday and since that
I've been nearly panicking every day.

The Reason: my internet-thing wasn't connected!

really pathetic... I wrote several e-mails, disturbing the ATK-guy all the time
and tried the connections AT LEAST 7 times per day...

So who says that computers and internet aren't
the work of Mr. L. U. Sifer? so addicting.

ps. Of course I use my Internet-conn. for educational reasons only.
pps. Marko: my computer can be closed by pressing "on" for four seconds.
(don't want to be a smart ass...)
