I have no clue how they sound. Is their 3rd cd already released this year? I need some good descriptions of them.

I stumbled across their 2nd CD and tried it on a whim.. they impressed me enough to be excited to see them live this year and to pick up their 1st release. I'm sure there's MP3s aboun on the web sites by now, if not here, check the End Records' web site or CD Universe.
Yes, their 2nd album "A Time Never Come" is out, and I like it better than the first one. First one is fine, just sounds a little rough, not as well thought out...not as polished...I don't know, just doesn't grab me enough...anyway...
Had a hard time finding it online, even at The End and CD Universe (both of these places get most of my money), but I ended up finding it for a very reasonable price through the Century Media Store.
Haven't soaked it up yet, but SS play kick ass, punchy power metal with some classical prog vibes thrown in. The 2nd album has some good atmospherics, but the band does not sound as frilly, overblown, or melodramatic as some of their Italian brethren.

how does the vocals sound? that is the only thing that sometimes turns me off to some power metal acts.
with scent of human desire, their 3rd, they have lost some of power metal in exchange for thrash, hard rock, and more prog metal approach.
I like this new direction, very much.

I agree with towers....their 3rd release is in a nice direction, definitely more "proggish" material....kinda cheesy on some of the material....one song, Virgin Street 69, in particular...but it does rock...hafta give em that.

I have mixed feelings about what I've heard from the new one, the material ranges from kickass (Runaway Train) to incoherence (Life) to the utterly awful (Scent Of A Woman).
