So I've been working on how this sounds, and I've found something I enjoy alot, though It isn't complete as I feel as though things could be mixed ALOT better. I'm working with a band in studio that wants a Chunk, No Captain Chunk meets standard metalcore type sound, but I'm having a hard time balancing and controlling the low end of the mix. Below I have linked you to the drum and bass track only as well as the complete instrumental mix. Please be as honest as possible on all aspects as I've never actually asked for mixing advice from another producer ever.
My efforts with guitar EQ'ing has been a bumpy ride, so please help me figure out what I might be over doing, or not doing, that is breaking the guitars sound!
