Hey guys,
Was bored today so I decided to do a little cover of Whiskey in the jar, metallica style. Any chance you guys could have a listen to my mix and critique it to hell and back?! I've not done much mixing really, just learning to ropes so to speak! Oh yeah ignore the drums, they're just in there as a guide really as I haven't been arsed to do them today, maybe tomorrow I'll have a play. I'd be interested to know what you think of the guitar tones I've got, as it's the first time I've used a real amp tone rather than a modeller.
The setup is Ibanez RG1570 (stock pups) > Randall RM20B w/ Recto module using direct out XLR > XLR into Toneport UX2 (used a bit of preamp here) > Cubase SX3
It's the Whiskey in the jar rough clip:

Cheers!
