Need help and tips on recording and mixing, 8505, and S 2.0 included.

Hi!

Im in serious need of help, im farely new to mixing and recording, And have never been happy with my mixes. So im uploading a small test with some autotuned vocals and 8505 and such, and would be very happy with all tips and help. I know its a bad mix, but thats why im here, to learn and get better. So swing on,,,tell me whats missing and what needs to be done.

Your mixes are not bad sounding, at all.

Here's a couple things I would definitely look into doing:

-Bump the low frequencies (50-70Hz) of the kick up. It has no thump, and is barely audible. The volume can probably be brought up as well.

-Lose the autotuned vocals. Autotune can definitely add something to a song, but in this case, i think it takes away. Autotune usually sounds better on the higher-pitched vocals.

-Also bump the low mid frequencies of the snare to give it a little more beef.
