i just made the switch to Pro Tools a few days ago and am loving it coming from Nuendo.

I do 90% mixing and just couldn't take the inflexible routing and general slow workflow in Nuendo any longer.

only think I miss is ADC, but I've adjusted very quickly to just moving tracks back.

can't you just nudge the audio track itself back by how ever many samples the UAD is delaying it?

I could do but its judging it right. I took the better option and got the lastest update for logic and with this the third party plugin delay compnsation is no problem at all.

is there any difference between nuendo and cubase as far as audio goes???


i know nuendo is better geared for various media production but for what we do here - audio production should i go for cubase 4 vs nuendo 3 (or even 4 when it comes out)?????

It doesn't even matter - Nuendo DOES NOT RUN ON INTEL MACS.

They're the same, audio-wise, FWIW. Nuendo 3 was more stable than Cubase SX3, from what I found, though.

no way, to hell with nudging.

with alt+h the shift window comes up, you type how many samples want to move the file, earlier or later, and your golden.

wayyyy faster
