It's too late now, but when I listen to your mix it really sounds like the guitar player made the mix and he hates the rest of the band, but used to date the chick

it's a blend of several samples, I had to replace kick and snare 100% (sounded like the mics were touching the heads or so).

I copied the Overhead-track, EQ'ed it to a pseudo roomtrack, compressed it to fuckery with ssl-talkback comp and added it as a "pseudo-room-mult" to the drums, that gave back some of the feel, dynamics and PUNCH. (although drums still don't sound very natural though )

I even removed the front-panel so you can see the tubes, so it does definitely not look like a 5150, plus it's getting re-tolexed in white.

sounded shite...what I did was distorting a copy and bring that up slightly....
didn't do much though....
