Need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason, my burner onmy comp is not working. I start the process, it converts, and then says burning 0% and gets hung. I basically have had to unplug my computer from the wall to get it to stop and spit out my cd-r.

Any thoughts, suggestions??

Seriously, THIS is comedy gold.

Josh, you're running Windows right? Go to Add/Remove programs under Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel, uninstall the CD burner software, get the disc, reinstall it. Also try setting your burn speed lower, I never go above 8x.

I've never had a problem before today, and the computer is really new.... WTF?!?

I'm not sure what the program is, unless it's just my media player, which is what i use to do the burning... but it seems like the actual machine is fritzed out...

Most computers have more than one software program to burn CDs. Try Windows Media Player 10. You might have to download it, but it has worked fine for me. If your CD player/burner is the actual problem, I'm no help.

Yeah, I have WMP 10.... I am baffled right now.. I can still rip cds, I just can't seem to get them to burn on to a cd.

When I go to add/remove programs, Windows Media player isn't even on the menu...

Do I want to go to my c drive program files and just delete it?

Dude, dont uninstall WMP. Just get a good program for the job you want (like NERO)
